Regardless of your age, if you have been trying to conceive for six months or longer with no success, we recommend that you schedule a consultation to determine any potential problems. We will guide you through a preliminary test that will alert issues that can then be corrected. Meeting our specialists will not obligate you in any way.
What to Expect?
Post an appointment, you will meet with one of our specialists and discuss your situation. A complete examination, hormonal evaluation, ultrasound scan, and tests to rule out infection will follow. Our initial testing, which will be determined at the consultation, may include:
- Baseline evaluation:
- Ultrasound scan.
- Semen Analysis:
- Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinising hormone (LH):
- Hysterogram (also called a hysterosalpingogram):
What to Bring
The couple must bring any medical files that document the history from previous treatments. This will help to determine whether our services will benefit them. If you have had a hysterogram, please bring the x-ray film or disc, not just the report.
Our specialists run various tests to diagnose the problem affecting one or both the partners from being able to conceive. From the initial diagnosis through all stages of treatment, we provide high quality, appropriate care based on your clinical needs. If repeated attempts to naturally conceive are unsuccessful, we recommend that you come in for some basic tests immediately. Time is of the essence.
